Vox Clamantis

Domenic Esposito in Collaboration with The OSP

Domenics most recent body of work, Vox Clamantis, which will be displayed at his first solo exhibition at Piano Craft Gallery, Boston (January 7-30, 2022), reflects the devastation of opioid addiction, as well as coping with loss, recovery and finding hope. Through the use of metal and paint, he symbolizes his commitment to exposing accountable parties, both examining individual authority and raising a fist to societal malfeasance.

In tandem with the exhibition will run two days of events (January 21/22) featuring an exciting lineup of Socially Engaged and Activist guests.

Sam Quinones is a journalist and author from Los Angeles. Sam is best known for chronicling the opioid crisis in America through his best selling 2015 book
‘Dreamland’ and his most recent book, ‘The Least of Us’. He has been a reporter for over 32 years and is now a freelance journalist.

SOBER BABY is a talk show about addiction, sobriety and everything in-between.
Its creator, Marina Sachs, is an artist and organizer based in Florida. Focused on
addressing the stigmas of what an “addict looks like,” the show prioritizes QTBIPOC,
queer, disabled, fat and neurodivergent guests, and aligns with abolitionist
and intersectional feminist

ArtPalmBeach 2020

January 30th – February 3, 2020

We are delighted to announce that Domenic’s ”FDA Spoon” has been selected for exhibition at the 2020 Edition of the highly regarded ArtPalmBeach fair.

Domenic’s participation in the fair will include a panel discussion and screening of a short documentary on the Opioid Spoon Project.

“Esposito’s opioid spoon sculpture was selected to be part of this year’s event, as he seamlessly demonstrates his focus on social injustices through the creation of his 800 lb opioid spoon sculpture. His work functions at the intersection of art and social change. Esposito is truly leading the way, and making a difference via his unique art, and we are honored to have him participate in the fair’s Art Community pavilion whose mission is to embrace the most pressing social and global issues of our time,” stated Lee Ann Lester, co-Founder of ArtPalmBeach.
